This is the Second Issue of Volume.1 of the monthly Christian publication and hereby states the object of its publication:

That we are living in the last daysthe end of the Gospel age, in the growing winter season; as well as the dawning of the long prayed for Kingdom of Christ in power; are facts not only discernible by the close Student of the word, led by the Spirit; but the outward signs recognizable by the world, bear the same testimony: And we are desirous that the “household of Faith” be fully awake. Not only help awaken but to assist them to “put on the whole Armor of God that they may be able to stand in this evil day. And beside all this, that giving all diligence, they add to their Faith, Virtue, and to virtue, Knowledge, Self-control, Patience, Godliness, brotherly Kindness, and Love; whom trust in the merit of Christ’s Sacrifice for the world. Luke 21:36, Eph.6:13, 2 Peter 1:4-11

We encourage the sincere and honest ones, sensing the demands of the hour to write to us for this free monthly publication, stating clearly their addresses. It is a paper which is good for your mother, father, relative and friends whether in remote village or towns, as you can send copies to their use.

THE COST of the GREAT HIDDEN TREASURE

We saw that of our Lord Jesus Christ, it cost him every thing including his own lifeHeb.12:2; That he made himself of no reputation and took upon him the form of a Servant, and made in the likeness of a Man, … and became obedient unto death even the death of the CrossPhil. 2:7-10. It is on this background that it pleased the LORD of Heaven and his God that all who would share with his dear Son must be conformed to the likeness of His Son’s deathRom.8:29 that For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate to be conformed to the Image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren. This is the whole centre of the Cost of the treasurethat If Children of God; then Heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heir with Christ; If so be that we suffer with him, that we may be also glorified together. Rom.8:16-17.

It is the will of the Father of Jesus that Jesus himself made it clear that unless one denies himself, take up his cross and follows after him, the Kingdom Heirship with him and Eternal life is far beyond such. It should be clear that the call to joint-hership with Christ is to his believers justified ones only (Math.16:24) as it only this class who can present their justified humanity, living sacrifice unto God (Rom.12:1). But you may ask how can one approach the Cost decision making of the great Treasure? This is a good question as well as it was the same in the mind of a noble Jew who approached Jesus with a similar desire:

“And when he was gone forth into the way, there came one running, and knelt before him, and asked him, Good Master, what shall I DO that I may inherit Eternal life?” (Mark 10:17)

This is a true story of a man who lived morally, who did not kill, who did not bear false witness, who did not defraud anyone and who honored his father and mother. He was a nobleman who acknowledged Jesus as “Good Master’ even kneeling before him. In spite all his virtues, and they were many, he felt that Eternal life was something out of his reach. He felt there was something more that he had to DO. And in Jesus’ reply, he did not say DO? I have done everything for you. There is nothing to do but believe in me. Just say you believe or these words and you shall have eternal life.

The noble man was a Jew under the Jewish Law. The Law promised: “You shall therefore keep my statutes and judgments; which if a man does, he shall live in them; I am the Lord” (Leviticus 18:5). If they could keep the Law perfectly they would gain Eternal life. However, this was not possible because of their inherent imperfections. This young man had tried to live by keeping the Law but found that something was lacking. When reminded of the commandments he said, “Master, all these have I observed from my youth” (Mark 10:20). He had tried to keep the law and the great Master knew that he failed in one Area. Jesus told him, “One thing you lackest: go your way, sell whatsoever you have, and give the poor, and you shall have Treasure in heaven; and come, take up the Cross, and follow me” (Mark 10:21).

“And he was sad at that saying, and went away grieved: for he had great possessions (Mark 10:22). This is a “great refusal” because the nobleman turned down Eternal life it cost too much! How could Eternal life cost too much? If discipleship was presented on these terms today many would go “away grieved”. If People had to place their wealth on God’s Alter and take “the Cross and Follow” Jesus, the results might be the same as with the nobleman. Most people want to be on the receiving end. When Jesus tied “Eternal life” to giving all and taking up the “Cross” to follow him, it was to much cost to ask. Is something wrong here? Jesus laid out these Terms and no one may change them. The nobleman turned down eternal life because it cost too much. He had great possessions and would not give up advantages his wealth brought him, as it may be with today’s riches. With Eternal life he might have gained greater riches, for he would have eternity to do so. However, his own selfish interest would not allow him to yield to Jesus’ terms. He had not fully met the requirement “thou shalt love the Lord your God with all thine heart, and with all your soul, and with all your might” Deut.6:5. This is one thing he lacked a serious lack which would disqualify anyone from eternal life. Now a Lesson emerges that ties eternal life to character requirements, which in turn, leads to works pleasing to God.

The Handicap of Riches:
Jesus used this occasion to teach another lesson. “And Jesus looked round about, and saith unto his disciples, how hardly shall they that have riches enter into the Kingdom of God!” (Mark 10:23). This was discouraging to the disciples. It was hard enough to arouse interest in God’s Kingdom. Jesus seemed to place further obstacles in gaining converts. Not only did Jesus outline strict requirements for discipleship, but he also threatened the sacrosanct domain of riches. This was foreign to their thinking the rich and powerful as today were generally highly esteemed and often given preferred treatment. Jesus seemed to indicate that the rich would be greatly disadvantaged in entering the “Kingdom of God” And the disciples were so astonished at his words (Mark 10:24). Jesus was placing insurmountable obstacles to enlisting People to God’s Kingdom. “And they were astonished out of measure, saying among themselves, who then can be saved?” (Mark 10:26). This event left them sorely perplexed. Why   was Jesus making things so difficult for someone he loved?

Jesus told the nobleman a similar message he had expressed to his disciples in his sermon on the Mount. Because strait (difficult) is the gate, and Narrow is the way, which leadeth unto (eternal) life, and few there be that find it” (Math.7:14). Just as few today pay attention to this verse, so the disciples had heard Jesus’ words without comprehension. In their Zeal to find people to receive their message, they knew the easier the conditions of discipleship, the greater response they would receive, like today’s crusades. Jesus’ conditions for “eternal life” brought a measure of sadness to them. Could it be that the requirements for “eternal life” might be much more difficult than just saying, “I believe in Jesus”? Could it also entail a full consecration to do the will of God, followed by an entire lifetime of discipleship? Look at the following Conditions/Terms of discipleship set forth by the Master:

1.      Mathew 16:24 - Then said Jesus unto his Disciples [Believers but not follower], If any Man is to come after Me:

·         Let him Deny himself, and                  = Romans 12:1

·         Take up his Cross, and

·         Follow Me.

2.      Mathew 10:37-38: He that loveth Father or Mother more than Me is not worthy of Me: and he that loveth Son or Daughter more than Me is not worthy of Me. And he that takes not his Cross, and Followeth after me, can not be my disciple.

3.      God is a Spirit: and they that Worship him MUST Worship him in Spirit and in TRUTH. John 4:24

4.      If you continue in my Words, then are you my Disciples indeed; And you shall know the TRUTH…!  John  8:31-32

These are the Terms of acceptance to run the race for the prize of high calling a great Treasure. Still surprising, majority of the great mass of professed Christians (?) have never fulfilled step one (Let such deny him/herself) nor known about it, yet sacrificing (?) for heavenly hopes!!! Are you one? Find the TRUTH!

When the disciples asked, “Who then can be saved?” were they asking “Who will be saved to heaven?” The evidence is not conclusive but Jesus informed them “no Man has ascended to heaven.” Certainly that seems clear none before Jesus could be in heaven! The heavenly Calling was not understood until after Jesus’ death. Jesus opened “a new and living way, which he has consecrated for us, through the veil, that is to say, his flesh” (Heb.10:20).

 TREASURES EARTHLY AND HEAVENLY

“Lay not up for yourselves treasures upon earth,
… but lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven.” Mathew 6:19-20

The call which the consecrated have answered is a “heavenly calling”; the prize for which the Christian Church runs is a heavenly prize. Because our hearts will be (and our time and talents too) where our treasure is, therefore, we should be on our guard lest earthly treasure draw our hearts from heavenly prize. A treasure may be of any sort – money, children, wife, flowers, birds, horses, cattle, or self or business — anything. That which fills the largest place in our hearts is our treasure. The heart’s treasure is that for which we would and do make the greatest sacrifices of time, strength, money, convenience etcIt is of our heart’s treasure that we always most desire to speak to those we love, and to the defense of which we quickly spend all — even life itself.

The honors and privileges of our calling to be “the Bride, the Lamb’s wife”, and joint heir with him of the heavenly Kingdom, should make that the supreme treasure of every heart in which it is appreciated. In comparison with that, every other treasure should seem, as it really is, insignificant. We should see to it that our loyalty to the Lord is ever ready for Tests; for he not only calls us to the honor of being his bride and joint-heir, but he tells us that he will test the faithfulness of our professions and that he that loves him not more  than houses, land, and all else, and whose love will not stand the test of fiery trials, he is not worthy of him (Math.10:37-38); and that they who are ashamed of him and his word now, he will not own by and by (2 Thess.2:9-11).

In proportion as we are faithful to our consecration in rendering our daily sacrifices, denying self and following the Master’s steps, we come to realize the heavenly treasure more and more clearly, and our hearts are set more on it.

THE MANIFOLD GRACE OF GOD

Part 1.  Continues

THE BLOOD OF JESUS - Very precious

When we really consider the history of Mankind and look at God’s plan of the ages, the more fully we can understand the wonderful love of God manifested in the gift of Jesus Christ. Now we come nearer to a true estimate of the blood of Jesus as we understand why he shed his blood and the results to be obtained.

Man not only became a sinner by disobedience, but he lost his life also. As through one man sin entered the world (in whom ALL sinned), and through sin, death, so also death passed upon all men (Romans 5:12). If mankind remained in that condition, God’s object in creating man to attain finally to his image would prove a failure. As through the imperfection and fall of man, it was impossible for man to keep the Law perfect yet in the Law, God had promised man to live if kept perfect; We see man’s dilemma , and the only hope is and was in God; Who by his grace (Hosea 13:14) paid the price by offering his only begotten Son to die instead of Adam for Adam’s sin, hence giving Mankind an opportunity to live again through the death of Jesus Christ, the man (Romans 5:19-21). Jesus said of himself, “This is my flesh which I give for the life of the world”. Besides, we being yet helpless, Christ at the proper time died on behalf of the ungodly this is the love of God the Almighty. By much more, then, having been now justified by his blood, we shall through him be saved from wrath (Romans 5:6-9). So Paul could now say “Take heed, therefore, unto yourselves and to all the flock over which the holy spirit has made you overseers, to feed the Church of God, which he has purchased with the blood of his own.” Acts 20:28. Yes they were sold under sin, but bought with a price. “What know you not that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit, which is in you, which you have of God, and you are not your own?  For you are all bought with a price. Therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God’s” 1 Cor.6:19-20.

Beloved, note that Bought, Redeemed and Ransomed (1 Tim.2:6) are used in the same sense and always remind us that we are not our own, but belong to one who has a right to demand full Obedience to him; but as he who has called you is holly, so be you holy, in all manner of conversation, in all your conduct, because it is written; “Be you holy, for I am holy; and if you call on the Father, who, without respect of persons, judges according to every man’s work, pass the time of your sojourning in fear; Forasmuch as you know that you were not redeemed with corruptible things, as silver (money) and gold (earthly riches), but with the precious blood of Christ, as a lamb without blemish and without spot (1 Peter 1:15-19. )

Yes, For thou wast slain and hast redeemed us unto God by your blood out of every Kindred, and Tongue, and People, and Nation, and hast made us unto our God Kings and Priests, and we shall Reign on the Earth [Christ’s Kingdom on earth] Rev.20:6; 5:9-10; 2 Peter 3:13; Mathew 6:10; Obadiah 21; Jude 14)

He gave himself a ransom for All, to be testified in due time.” 1 Timothy 2:6 and “I will ransom them from the power of the grave; I will redeem them from death. O death, I will be your plagues; O grave (hell), I will be your destruction. Hosea 13:14 But this is not all! If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. 1 John 1:9 If we say we have fellowship with Him and walk in darkness, we speak falsely and perform not the Truth; but if we walk in the light, as He is in the Light, we have fellowship with each other, and the blood of Jesus, His Son, cleanses us from all sin. 1 John 6:7

But Christ being made a high priest of good things to come, by a greater and more perfect tabernacle, not made with hands, that is to say, not of this building; neither by the blood of goats and calves, but by His own blood, He entered once into the holy place, having obtained eternal redemption. For if the blood of bulls and goats and the ashes of a heifer sprinkling the unclean sanctifies to the purifying of the flesh, how much more shall the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself without spot to God, purge, cleanse your conscience from dead works to serve the living God (Hebrew 9:11-14).

Therefore, Romans 3:20-26: By works of the Law no man shall be justified in His presence, for through the law there is an acknowledgement of sin; but now apart from law, God’s righteousness has been manifest, being attested by the law and the prophets, even “God’s righteousness through Faith of Christ, to ALL who believe”; For there is no distinction, for all have sinned and come short of the glory of God, being justified freely by His favour – through that redemption which is by Christ Jesus, whom God has set forth to be a Mercy seat by his own blood through the Faith, for an exhibition of His righteousness at the present time in order that He may be righteous while justifying him who is of the Faith of Jesus. (Emphatic diaglott) AMEN.

What work did Jesus come to do on earth?

“RECONCILIATION OF THE WORLD”

That Logos – the only begotten of the Father from the beginning the first Morning Star, came (Jesus the man) to make atonement for the sins of the world; and again, the Restoration (Restitution of All things including Mankind) of the Earth back to its glory like the garden of Eden!! (Acts 3:19-21; Isaiah 36:35; Isaiah 35.) Yes, Christ’s Kingdom here on earth!!!!! Rev. 5:10, 2 Pet. 3:13, Matt. 6:10

Man broke God’s righteous law and though the debt incurred has been paid by his substitute, yet having degenerated morally, mentally, and physically, he is not inclined to be in harmony with God. As “God is of purer eyes than to behold evil,” sin became a barrier between God and his creatures, interrupting communication and fellowship and though still loving mankind, God hates their sin. As sin led the first sinners to hide from God’s presence, so it has ever since tended to separate them, and thus we see God and the sinner arrayed as opponents God, from His very purity and holiness, the opponent of sin; Man from the degrading influences of sin, the opponent of holiness. The means by which these opponents are again brought together and into harmony and communion, is called by scripture reconciliation atonement restoration (Col. 1:21). So we see that the reconciliation is complete from God’s standpoint ever since Christ made “reconciliation for iniquity” in his death (Daniel 9:24). And now, God makes overtures to the sinner, sending word by his apostles, telling how he was reconciled to them all, and beseeching them to return to fellowship and communication with him.

But while God is now reconciled, man except the “little flock” is not at-one or reconciled with God. If reconciling and making at one means the bringing into perfect harmony of mind and will, it is evident that only a little flock are yet so reconciled to God’s will and to God’s way as to prefer it to their own, consequently only these are perfectly at one with the Father. The Saints only can truly say: “We have received the at-one-ment Romans 5:11. All this imply that the reconciling of the rest of the world is still future work!! We are now reconciled, have now “committed unto us the ministry of reconciliation.” As soon as fully reconciled ourselves, we join with God in telling the world of his love and “reconciliation to them by the death of his Son.” As many as have the ears to hear may hear, but our work of proclaiming this grand message does not end with this present life/age, for we find that in the new Heaven and new Earth (Millennial Age – 2Pet.3:13 & Rev.20:6), we, as the Bride of Christ, carry on the work of ambassadors, for then “The Spirit and the Bride say, Come Rev.22:17.

What can you do now my Friends?

Answer:  Acts 3:19-21 KJV

Repent you therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, when the times of refreshing shall come from the presence of the Lord. And he shall send Jesus Christ, which before was preached unto you: Whom the heaven must receive until the “times of Restitution of all things (CHRIST’S KINGDOM)”, which God hath spoken by the mouth of all his holy prophets since the world began.

God willing, we shall continue to write more on this Christ’s Kingdom which he received from his God and Father, his Creator (Rev. 3:14) and ours too (Daniel 7:13-14); which Kingdom was and still the core of Jesus message (Matthew 24:14) and has by his will committed to us for a joint-Heirship (Daniel 7:27).

THE DIVINE PLAN OF AGES

“A Plan of Ages, which he formed for the ANOINTED Jesus our Lord”

DESIRING GOD’S GREAT BLESSING!

Desiring to obtain God’s blessing but indifferent in doing His will results in failure. Serving and improving the life conditions of your fellow men towards God, is one source of God’s blessing. Therefore, desiring to spread God’s Message of life but thinking you are too busy with work of whatever sort, poor to give financial support as you may not have enough for food, or you are not talented to speak, or feeling bodily imperfection that a person may ask you what you can not explain; yes in whatever form of constraint: We advise you to consider the many and varied opportunities the LORD of heaven has placed before you to serve your fellow men and women; Example, obtain copies of this monthly Newsletter — look at People interested in God’s word around you; at work place, home, neighbors, at your church, sending a copy to mother, father, friends & relatives in different places of the Country. Those who could promote this work in other right way, the opportunity stands. Yes, how refreshing and motivating you may contribute to changing Peoples lives, and yourself be God’s righteous Servant in the belief of Christ and the TRUTH.

 GROWING IN FAITH

Growth in faith is a desired state of Christian for desired fruitage of Christ likeness; But this must be in line with the will of God as expressed in 1 Thess. 5:21 KJV — “Prove all things; hold fast that which is good.” In line with this exhortation we advise all who are earnest students of Scriptures and our Newsletter, to prove all our studies with the only standard given by God (Isaiah 34:16) and please communicate to us!  It is also, our privilege to share the message of God’s love with others; hence we advise those who received the first publications to share them with God’s People.
